Master Zhongxian Wu is our root teacher in the Daoist practices of Qi Gong, Tai Ji, Divination, and Gan Zi.

(heavenly stems earthly branches) are greatly transmitted from him. Thomas is grateful to have had the luck of studying with him and to share the lineages that Master Wu teaches.

Master Wu was born on China’s eastern shore in the city of Wenling in Zhejiang Province, where the sun’s rays first touch the Chinese mainland.  Master Wu began practicing Qigong and Taiji at an early age. Inspired by the immediate strengthening effects of this practice, he committed himself to the life-long pursuit of the ancient arts of internal cultivation.

Since 1972, Master Wu has devoted himself to the study of classical Chinese arts - Qigong/Neigong, Taiji, internal martial arts, Chinese medicine, Chinese astrology, Chinese cosmology, Yijing science, Chinese calligraphy, ancient Chinese music - and has studied with the highest level masters of these fields. He is the lineage holder of four traditional schools of internal cultivation practices.

Master Wu founded Blue Willow World Healing Center and QinJian Akademin 琴劍研究院 with his wife Dr. Karin Taylor Wu to preserve the ancient healing arts and other classical Chinese wisdom traditions.
